Kakan took a toll on Kranti's health

Actress Kranti Redkar, who just wrapped up directing her first Marathi film Kakan, feels that the strenuous job took a toll on her health.
She said, ���This being my first directorial venture, I went overboard in every department. Right from pre-production, I took an active part in each minute detail associated with the film. Because of this I lost a lot of weight and my complexion too deteriorated.I just could not pamper myself in the past one year and this will continue till the film's release. But seeing the end product for which we having been working so hard makes it all worthwhile.���
Period film Kakan has Jitendra Joshi and Urmila Kanitkar-Kothare in lead roles.
